Frames for Needlework The Original Lap-stitch Frame was invented more than 20 years ago and Images Stitchery Design has been manufacturing frames ever since. Images Stitchery frames can be used for cross-stitch, needlepoint, embroidery, quilting, rug-hooking, and duplicate stitch. The 4-square frame can be used for any of the aforementioned techniques, but is particularly suited to punchneedle. All of the frames allow the stitcher to to work comfortably with the frame in the lap or on a table, freeing the hands for holding only a needle or hook. The dowels are made from domestic birch wood and come with 2" wide heavy cotton belting already attached and reusable. Stitch your fabric or canvas onto the belting, use the Velcro system, or use clamps that you already have from another system.

Lap-Stitch 4-Square Quilter The Lap-Stitch 4-Square Quilter is a portable scroll frame that sets on a table allowing the quilter to work with both hands free. The 4-Square Quilter Frame has 2 horizontal and 2 vertical dowels so you can stretch the fabric very tight on all 4 sides. The raised curved side bar lifts the project off of the table so one hand can easily slip under the dowel so you can use both hands for stitching. This frame is still portable and hands-free. It stands 6" high and is 7" wide. This frame can be expanded by special order only. |
